Fall (2022)
A drama about climbing a 2,000-foot radio tower.
There are no great surprises in the plot, but some excellent shots and action that really give you the feeling of height. If it works well on TV (where I saw it) then it must have been great to see it at a cinema.
I particularly enjoy stories where there’s just a small cast in a limited place, yet the action remains compelling, which is perhaps why I love the Before trilogy. Even my Lost Solace books are often conversations between two people in a dangerous place, so it’s no surprise that I enjoyed Fall. Not amazing, not ground breaking, but it is mostly entertaining.
