Inspirational Author Interviews: Karl Drinkwater
I was recently interviewed by Howard Lovy as part of his inspirational Authors podcast series. It was good fun, and we talked about everything from my childhood and later library career, to allegorical meanings of space opera, dystopian realities, good writing, and trying to make the world a better place. I’m proud of some of the things I said, and a few might surprise you.
You’ll find all the other Inspirational Authors podcasts here.
As an aside, my Kickstarter is 73% funded, with only eleven days to go. Will it reach the goal and pay off, or will it fall short (in which case I don’t get anything)? Click the button below to be in with a chance of deciding its fate!
I Am Not A Politician
Spoiler alert: I was not elected as a politician. As such my life will go back to normal once my flu clears up fully. If you’d like to know how many votes I got, read The Results Are In. If you’d like to see more of what I stood for, and why I feel a connection to The 1960s TV series The Prisoner, then read this. I also wrote a post on that site today as my way of saying goodbye to the election.

Bright blessings,

Love your list of 'this needs to happen'. Especially GCSE Natural History!!! Great idea. I'd make it compulsory, too. That way no power and money-led MP or CEO can act as if they know nothing about our planet and what it needs to survive us humans. My constituency had Green and Reform for the first time this election. Green got 12.5% of votes. (Reform slightly more- boo). Our Labour MP already pays attention to the Green voice (she is one of the MPs advocating public ownership of our water) but hopefully this will add to her determination. Well done Karl - and enjoy a bit of deserved rest.
