Lost Solace Blog Tour
I haven’t taken part in a blog tour for years, but that is about to change! On 29th March, Lost Solace will be touring at the sites in the image above. Each day the host will release new reviews or articles about my book. You can visit each site or their social media accounts to see what they say; to comment, share, interact, add your opinion, and take part as much as you like. For my part, I hope it will inspire people to try the book, and then hopefully enjoy the full series! The bloggers are under no obligation to like any of the books on a tour, so it will be interesting to see what they think of my work!
Here are clickable links to each stop, so you can follow along each day:
Fri 29th March
Sat 30th March
Sun 31st March
Mon 1st April
Tue 2nd April
Wed 3rd April
Thu 4th April
I hope you will join me!

Personal News
In brief!
Dolly is doing quite well at the moment. Her blood sugar levels seem to have gone down slightly and she has put on a bit of weight for the first time in months (now 2.8kg; her normal weight would have been 3.8kg). She is enjoying a few things in life at the moment, particularly: being brushed (she lies on her side when she wants “grooming time”!); her breakfast; and going to bed early.
Last Saturday I ran a workshop: “Publishing: A Super-brief Introduction.” It was good fun and the feedback from attendees made me glow. This was the session blurb: “Overwhelmed by the daunting publishing process? Join author Karl Drinkwater as he leads an engaging introduction to different publishing options, encouraging you to think about how you would get a manuscript published.” My next book will be all about this!
It has been confirmed that I will be standing as a Green Party MP candidate in the next general election. You can find out more here. I increasingly feel that voting red or blue in the UK (or even US) is increasingly the same thing, and our only hope of positive change is to vote for other options, particularly those that won’t support genocide or persecute journalists.
Thanks for reading,
Karl
Awww, bless Dolly 🙏
