New, Collaborative Kickstarter: Afua!
My role as a Parliamentary candidate is still taking up most of my time at present. Visit that site if you want to see what I stand for. (I’m sure you can guess, since I am standing as a Green!)
But I have managed to progress one of my writing projects! And it’s one that I am particularly excited about.
Afua is my first collaboration with another author, and it has been a blast! And we were super efficient and it didn’t take long and … oh. Video never lies:
Well, at least you know that with two professional authors and four years, we should have crafted a good story!
We’re running a Kickstarter first, with exclusive rewards and add-ons that aren’t available anywhere else. Click the button above to take a look. Once the Kickstarter is over and the book sent to all who supported it, Afua will then go into the main distribution chains so that standard ebook and paperback versions will be available to the rest of the world.

Grubane Rules
One of my readers forwarded me the email in the image above, which they’d received from Apple Books. Yay, Grubane is in some good company! What’s even more serendipitous is that Grubane’s story has a minor character called Afua, which led Chris to want to write about her background, and then that led to our collaboration, and finally to the finished book and the Kickstarter mentioned above! The world moves in mysterious ways.
