This morning I woke up to find one of my suspense books, Turner, was at #2 in Amazon’s UK horror-suspense charts. Will it get to #1? It is only 0.99 at the moment, in all stores, so please spread the word if you know anyone who loves tense and scary books! It’s not often my books get to the top of the charts, but this really helps bring them to the attention of fans of the genres I write in. Hence me doing a little dance. (Not recorded on video, you’ll be pleased to know.)
As I mentioned last time, I visited my sister in Wales. The eleven hour journey was worth it to see her, and she is doing really well! I took her for coffee and cake on the marina while the sun glittered off the water, and it was her first time out for a brief walk since the operation. Thank you for all your kind thoughts.
I like to promote the work of other authors where possible. My friend Chris Paton writes crime novels and thrillers set in Greenland and the Arctic under the pen name Christoffer Petersen, and he has a new Kickstarter: “The 2023 Crime Fiction Advent Calendar: a chilling and chilly crime story with a chapter for every day in the Holiday Season!” It’s an interesting idea, and if you’d like to know more or support it, have a look on Kickstarter.
One more piece of good news! I reached a hundred subscribers and was awarded the badge above. Actually, I now have 112. If you like the kind of things I write about, feel free to point your friends to my sign up page.
Thank you for reading. My new profile picture (below) is proud to have you on my side! :-)
Congratulations Karl :) that’s brilliant news, chuffed for you… and off to purchase now. Huzzah.
